I have more than 20 years of experience in corporate intellectual property departments, covering invention mining, searches, contracts, litigation and every other situation a patent can reach.
In those years I worked on many matters with outside patent attorneys and lawyers, and that experience lets me communicate smoothly with clients today.
I advise on the best course of action for the invention and the business situation in front of us.
Full profile
Joined Seiko Electronic Industry Co., Ltd. as a new graduate and worked on improving the image quality of color copying.
Then handled system design and software development for restaurant systems.
Next, worked on the development of the BrainPad TiPO electronic dictionary, which adopted ITRON and BTRON.
Then moved to the intellectual property department and covered every kind of patent work, including invention mining, patent searches, disputes, contracts, litigation and training.
The businesses covered extended to almost all of Seiko Instruments Inc.: information equipment (controllers, mobile terminals, communication devices, various systems, networks and others), devices (batteries, crystal oscillators, semiconductors, liquid crystals), watches, printers (thermal heads, inkjet heads) and alloys, adding up to wide-ranging IP experience.
