Whatever the question, I make proposals that understand how a corporate IP department and a business division feel, so please feel free to talk to me. I also draw on the sense of pacing trained through marathon running, my hobby, to deliver a steady service.

At university and graduate school, researched the surface treatment of metal materials by electrochemical processes. Qualified as a patent attorney while still a student.
Assigned to the intellectual property department at each company, handled a wide range of patent work on IT, software, business models, games and optical instruments: invention mining and creation, prosecution mainly in Japan, the United States and China, patent searching and analysis, IP strategy planning, review of IP contracts, licensing negotiations and work related to patent infringement litigation. As the lead handler and as a specialist, carried out each of these based on IP strategy, and as a manager, planned IP strategy based on business strategy and handled communication with executives and with the development and business divisions. The motto is to be able to explain, for every single patent, why the patent for that invention needs to be obtained, from the standpoint of the business.
While in the intellectual property department, worked actively on creating inventions and filed more than 100 patent applications, about 50 of them as the first-named inventor. Particularly strong at spotting inventions that look likely to be patentable.
