Detailed profile
While at Keio University, I took part in a Japan-France double degree program and was sent to École Centrale Paris as a scholarship student of the French government, where I studied a wide range of fields for two years under a generalist education policy.
In graduate school I worked on research into evaluating emotion using biological signals such as brain waves. On completing the master's program I received an Outstanding Research Activity Award and served as the formal representative receiving the diplomas. Alongside my studies, I worked at an NPO as a promoter of the Japan-France Robot Design Grand Prix.
I joined a patent firm in Tokyo as a patent engineer and handled foreign and domestic patent filings. My interest in language grew further, and at a patent and law firm in Tokyo I concentrated on English-Japanese patent translation while qualifying as a patent attorney.
